5 reasons I started Vue.js Berlin After Talk Podcast

Hey all,

It's almost 4 months ago when World circumstances forced us to move our Vue.js // Berlin meetup to the virtual reality. But the question was how we can do it and have something different than other virtual meetups do. And this is how After Talk Podcast was created. Having an unscripted, pub-like conversation, is what I really like, and here are 5 reasons why I decided to kick it off:

#1 - I can learn lots of new things from guests. They can give me another point of view of my opinions and expand it. They can show me ways I didn't even think of or didn't even know they are possible.

#2 - Practicing talking and English. My talking skills can be always improved. We all have some flaws when we are talking. For example, repeating same words or adding some sounds, etc. As it's recorded I can review it and improve it continuously. Also as I am non-native in English this is for me another way how can I improve my English.

#3 - I love tech stuff and creating podcasts is the next challenge. I can learn what I need to have the perfect sound and how to correctly work with sounds, words, and event language.

#4 - Giving community something different. I always thinking about what I can do different and give our community something they can enjoy and also learn and expand their knowledge.

#5 - HomeOffice can be sometimes really boring :) and having once a month's possibility to step up from everyday routine and escape to "the virtual pub" is refreshing and it's good for my mental health.
