Hey Melvin, I just looked at your tool. I think you should rebuild the UI/UX, which is really important, before starting marketing. Maybe you can try to make it more attractive. I tried to test it and found it not so accurate, but this product can have a good future. Maybe try to work on these points before starting marketing

Thanks for the suggestions! As you may have noticed, I am not a frontend developer, so I am still learning how to do UI/UX. If you have any specific suggestions on how it could be improved, I am always looking for tips!

    Hey Melvin,
The website looks cool. One thing is you need to add a country filter or location filter

Hi Melvin, this seems like a good work and Im guessing the sole rev is based on affiliation from amazon?

May I ask a few questions:

    1. Results of Paid Marketing Channels you used, if you did? [like running a paid ads campaign?]

    2. Results of Organic Marketing Channels you used, if you did?

    3. Since you are part-time, are you willing to go full-time on it later down the road if needed?

    4. Team size: Just you, I suppose?

    5. What are you looking forward to doing with it, as in, the vision of the project?

    6. What tech stack did you use?

    7. Monthly traffic this website gets?

    8. Social platform metrics from your instagram it seems you have 4 followers only and your twitter and fb links seem to redirected to the same page.

I might be interested in this, but some changes I would make are the UI, which I can help you with slightly as I come from a game dev background Unity + C# working with publishers like Voodoo, SHAREit, ZPlay, etc and now Im taking a break.

I was randomly scouting when I came across this.

I will also send you an email with the same comment should you fail to see your indie hackers notifications.

    Thank you for your time.

    Regards
    Karanveer

Hey Melvin, fantastic concept! With the holidays just around the corner, the timing is perfect.

As a friendly suggestion, consider enhancing the UI to make the design more appealing, and set the default values to "Romantic Partner" and "Christmas." Also, the AI could use a bit of fine-tuning; I ran a few searches, and the recommended gifts weren't quite up to par.

    Hope this helps :)

Thanks for suggestions! UI improvements are definitely something that has been on my mind. As for the AI algorithm, I have some ideas for improvements, but I find it hard to validate without many users. If you have any suggestions on how the results could be improved, I would love to hear them :)
