TikTok Shop is already outpacing big names like Shein, Sephora, and even home shopping TV.
People are buying things like fashion (45%), beauty (44%), electronics (26%), kitchen goods (22%), and other quirky products.

The satisfaction rates back it up: 91% of TikTok Shop customers say their purchases meet expectations, and 90% say they’d shop again.
Even more impressive is the fact that 87% of users say TikTok Shop fits so naturally into their TikTok scrolling routine.
Trust and concerns
Not all TikTok users are on board. About 27% of potential buyers don't trust TikTok’s handling of their payment details. Meanwhile, 60% of Americans express concerns over TikTok’s Chinese ownership and its influence on content.
The bigger picture
Even with TikTok Shop blowing up, people are still spending way more cash at big names like Amazon, Target, and Walmart. That said, when people go back to buy something they first got on TikTok Shop, most stick with TikTok:
