New Youtube Series: Changing Gears from Services to Products

Hey Indiehackers!

For the last 9 years, @amyhoy and I have been working together to teach and share what we've learned building our businesses with others who want the same kind of freedom of building and selling things on their own terms.

We've done it so many ways: free articles, podcasts, and talks. Paid courses, books, live events, our own conference, and (occasionally) 1-1 coaching and support. We've helped lots of folks, including some peeps here on IndieHackers like @brennandunn, @joelhooks, @dceedia
and others.

But all of the stories we have to share are post-hoc. It's easy to look back on history and tell the story we want to tell. A lot of earliest blogging and writing was done "in the moment" so it's a lot more accurate than reflective retellings, but the view into what it's actually like (including the messy mistakes and course corrections along the way) is limited.

So...we're trying something new. We recently started working with Mojca Zove, a friend of ours who is an expert in creating and deploying facebook ads. She's making the shift from serving clients (she juggles up to 10 at a time, zoinks) to selling a range of products to help business owners run their own ads, and other consultants get their clients better results.

The fun part is that Mojca is documenting the whole process from her point of view. Snips from our coaching calls. What she's doing, in real time. What she struggles with. The guidance and feedback she gets from us. How she feels through the whole thing. The results as they roll in.

The first two videos are up on youtube now. The first video is a brief intro and Mojca's backstory for context. The second is where things get fun, and Mojca actually starts getting and implementing advice to work towards her product launch.
