What strategies do you recommend for growing users on a pre-release product?

Hey Everyone,

We're getting ready to launch a new product at Caravel called Trove.

As we work towards GA, we're growing our beta users and early adopters to help refine the initial feature set and to provide momentum behind the release.

I'm curious to hear from this community – What strategies and tactics have worked for growing your network of early users prior to a launch? And how did you engage that network to ensure a succesful launch?

So far we've created a demo video. Also, we launched an upcoming page on PH. We've been able to garner a decent amount of engagement and early signups from our normal channels, but we're looking to grow this user base even more and extend outside our typical channels.

What has worked for you? How have you effectively pushed a beta or pre-release product?
