Seeking Technical Cofounder To Help Me Build A New Kind of Education

Yo!
I posted here a few weeks ago, but I am still on the hunt for a cofounder I feel I vibe with and really want to do this with - in short, I don't give a sh*t what degree you have if you have built cool stuff and are passionate about the education space that is good enough for me. I am also technical, with much more experience on the backend but have hacked together the front end to this point(so pretty functional, just not good looking and not fast enough at iterating for my taste), so preferably you have more experience on the front end. In the ideal world, I would help out with the technical side where necessary but
The app(https://garber.education) is built on a flask stack with custom JavaScript for the front end. I have gotten ~40 beta users to test the app and give me feedback and I am currently building on that now - I just am not iterating fast enough for my own tastes, so would like a technical cofounder to help lighten the load and speed things up.
If that sounds like you, either respond here or send me an email at [email protected] and we can chat - I don't bite :)

Flask broke my heart so bad it's why I learned Rust. Python is so slow.

    May the flamewar commence!

I have no hate towards Rust, but with modern compute slow is relative. In addition, the extra hours of building it with rust will only ever be canceled out by the additional computing time if it goes to a sh*t ton of users(which would be great).
But rust is beautiful, just haven't gotten around to learning it.

The extra hours programming meme is a fallacy when applied to Rust since you don't have to constantly fix things that used to work.

    Hey Andrew Garber,
I saw your work. Keep it going.
If you want to focus on a quality frontend I suggest you use no-code platforms for website building. Or if you have experience (as you say you have) use chatgpt and copy code from other website's. Websites like tailwind CSS has very cool elements pre-made.

Hey Andrew, definitely check out https://pre.dev - at the very least ittl help you plan out how your backend should be structured, at best we can help you find development talent!

Hope this message finds you well!
I've taken a deep dive into the app, and the potential is inspiring.

I've got solid front-end experience, a genuine passion for education, and a track record of building user-friendly interfaces. Your technical prowess on the backend complements my skill set perfectly, and I'm excited about the prospect of turning your beta success into a polished, user-friendly masterpiece.

    Hey Andrew,

Ensure optimal performance for your Flask and custom JavaScript app by optimizing the backend with efficient database queries, caching, and asynchronous programming. On the frontend, minimize and concatenate JavaScript files, implement lazy loading, and use a CDN for asset delivery. Design for scalability with horizontal scaling, load balancers, and scalable databases. Regularly profile code, monitor in real-time, and deploy on production-ready servers. Prioritize security best practices, conduct regular load testing, and engage with the supportive Flask and JavaScript communities for ongoing optimization.
