Hi IH, my name is Angelo
I’ve been on the lookout specifically for the right software development agency that wants to expand its client base, particularly in the Americas because I've noticed that many agencies are relying heavily on personal networks and word of mouth to win business, with the CEO doing the lion's share of the selling.
In my most recent gig, I had the honor of being the Head of Sales (technically CRO, Chief Sales & CMO at the same time!) for a bootstrapped marketing agency startup. We specialized in the health and fitness niche and I worked alongside two founders. When I came on I managed to grow them from $30k in Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) to a stellar $1 million year in 2022.
That's the kind of magic I want to bring to the table while working with other rogue agency owners who are open to shaking things up and getting their sales funnel cranking, alongside a killer lead-generation process with the right team.
So, here's what I'm looking for: I'm thinking specifically about teaming up as a Fractional CMO/CRO in the beginning and then developing the relationship further as partnerships grow more successful. (depends on the needs of the project)
BTW I have 2 VAs that help augment my productivity so I’m not showing up alone and might be able to potentially work with more than one agency, given that they’re not in the same niche or looking to capture the same locality.

I do have a couple of non-negotiables:
-Bootstrapped is fine, but broke is a NO.
-💰 Minimum $250k ARR
I'm looking for companies that are ready to go big on growth, so I need to see at least $250k in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). Also, I need to see this because I don't work for free (Open to establishing a performance-based relationship)
-PRINCIPLES:
🧠 Open Mindset:
I'm all about fresh ideas and alternative strategies to break the monotony and propel. We can be logical, objective and innovative at the same time.
🚀 Implementation:
No time for idle theories. I’m here to turn insights into action, and my goal is to bring paying clients.
💪 Growth Mindset:
I’m all about GROWTH! If you're not afraid to step out of your comfort zone, experiment, and take some calculated risks, you're going to get along just fine.
So, if you're a software dev agency that’s a little rogue and you are looking to make something happen!
Drop me a line, and let's see if we can cook up something awesome together.
About me:
My unique ability is generating innovative marketing frameworks and strategies to make products or services stick out. I do this specifically using the top 1% of direct response methods. I love keeping my eyes on the big picture and the creative process, and I have a team of 2 VAs that help me tackle the nitty-gritty details. It's my way of ensuring we come up with effective campaigns that truly connect with our audience and build out the infrastructure to properly implement, test, and reiterate to perfection
I'm not so great at:
I'm not an everyday manager. I check out on mundane, repetitive routines. I'm not one to sit in Excel all day. I don’t like being micro-managed. I abhor people who don’t think outside the box.

Hey.
Um... what's a VA!! (I know I could google. But, if you provide the abbreviation, you need to provide the translation!! --- know your audience!!)
thanks!
ps. on a more serious note, if you're stellar at "customer acquisition" or at least it appears your skills are in that area, have you thought of doing this for the startups that are looking to grow in their "lane"??
Or are you more interested in the Agency thing, as it would give you more diverse opportunities?
-just curious
VA= Virtual Assistant
explain "lane" (you mean helping them establish a strong PMF ?)
Hmmmm... I guess I could help with Startups as well, my experience has been with Online education platforms that had a DFY element, and service-based agencies, and I've also worked with a SaaS solution that was essentially selling software that would distribute leads to agents according to the number of credits they paid for.
This post sounds really great!
