Seeking Growth Partner for AI Couples Therapy App

I'm Building CoupleRef.com - An AI Alternative to Couples Therapy. I started this project after realizing that five more sessions of couples therapy would cost more than taking my wife to an all-inclusive resort for a week — flights included.

Instead of trying to replicate traditional therapy (weekly one-hour sessions on a couch), CoupleRef helps you quickly get to the heart of your issues and learn practical ways to repair and reconnect. Pre Alpha Version of CoupleRef is live as of Oct 21

Users start by completing short, gold-standard psychological assessments. Your results personalize CoupleRef’s AI, allowing it to mirror how you and your partner think, feel, and communicate — capturing the emotional dynamics between you.

From there, CoupleRef presents detailed, easy-to-understand reports that help you see your emotional needs, communication patterns, and relationship dynamics more clearly. Then it guides you and your partner through structured exercises that teach you how to express needs safely, listen with empathy, and escape negative cycles of conflict.

A core part of CoupleRef is applied learning. Based on your assessments and discussions, it generates therapy-inspired lessons tailored to your specific patterns — so you can immediately apply what you learn in real conversations.

It can even act as a kind of referee when you’re in a disagreement, helping both partners be heard without taking sides.

I'm seeking a partner who can focus on growth while I manage product development. If you're interested, take a look at https://CoupleRef.com at reach out.

Daniel, a cool feature you could add is an activity they both enjoy and can actually do together inside the app. Something actionable, not just advice. A shared task or exercise that reinforces the lesson they just learned.

Daniel, smart angle—therapy costs are insane.
    Two quick growth levers:
Embed a “Share your dynamic report” PDF export → couples post it on Instagram stories, tag you.
Add a 5-question micro quiz gated by email; we’ve seen 42 % opt-in on health apps.
If you ever want a landing-page A/B test or wait-list widget spun up in Flask, ping me—happy to trade for case-study rights. Good luck with the launch!

Great post and great concept! I love it when we are creating apps to improve human connection in general.
I am currently having the same idea, but on a smaller scale.
One question tho, tackling couples therapy requires deep expertise in psychology.
What resources or who did you gather knowledge from to ensure an effective approach to achieve the result of couples therapy?

This is a fascinating concept, Daniel , the way CoupleRef personalizes guidance and facilitates real conversations could really resonate with couples looking for practical solutions.
From a growth perspective, early traction often comes from niche communities where your ideal users already hang out. Platforms like Reddit, specialized forums, and support groups can be great for testing messaging, building trust, and attracting engaged users organically , all without a big ad budget.
If you’re looking for someone to help drive early growth while you focus on product, I’d be happy to share some strategies that have helped other founders get their first paying users and strong engagement in highly targeted communities.

Hi Dan! That's a great thing! I like the idea - see it as a first step towards taking care of mental health in general and I think it can have a big potential. Would be really keen to hear more! I am a product manager with sales/operations and growth background, mostly in education, SaaS, science and tourism.
Let me know if you're keen for a chat to explore options :)
    Cheers!

Impressive concept, Daniel CoupleRef tackles a real need with empathy and innovation. Many founders building impactful AI solutions like this face the same challenge: gaining visibility, traction, and user trust online

That’s where I specialize helping tech and wellness startups grow organically through Reddit community marketing and digital awareness strategies that convert curious users into active participants

Your product already solves a major problem; the next step is amplifying that impact. Would love to share some proven growth insights that could help CoupleRef reach more couples globally

Sounds fascinating. Is the tech part already built or still at the concept stage?
