Experienced CMO looking for a challenge
Hi everyone,
I'm an experienced CMO who has led global marketing teams up to 40 people in SaaS companies doing around €100MIO ARR. But at the same time I'm still just as passionate about hands-on work as at the start of my career.
For the last 6 years, I've been working as a freelance fractional CMO for mainly B2B SaaS companies of different sizes (literally 1-100 MIO in ARR). But now I'd like to shift my attention more to building something of my own instead of working on someone else's company.
I've been tinkering around with a few projects and talked to a few potential partners to build something from scratch, but nothing solid popped up yet.
In case you have an interesting project where you think you could use a partner with my background, feel free to reach out. I'm not looking for clients, but besides that I'm open to different types of commitments:
- Starting a new project together
- Joining as a late co-founder (buy-in if it makes sense)
- Small ticket seed stage investments and act as a hands-on advisor
- Serving as a performance based operator for an existing business
- Any other ideas are welcome
I don't have a strong preference in terms of type of project. Last couple of years I've mostly been involved in SaaS, but I'm open to other projects too. But no B2C. :-)
I'm based in Belgium, but I'm used to working (sync & async) with globally distributed teams.

My name is Milan and I am the founder of a WhatsApp marketing platform called Growby.net.
Earlier we were called Whatso.net but had to rebrand because we wanted to become a Facebook Tech Provider and our name Whatso was too similar to WhatsApp and they asked us to change. We did the rebranding in August and then in October 2023, we became an approved Facebook Tech Provider.
Growby.net generated a revenue of $ 80,000 in last 12 months.
I come from an engineering & product background and I have been running the product part-time for the last 3 years.
Because of this I have not been able to market this fully. I feel the market-size of WhatsApp marketing is enormous and globally only 1-2% is actually covered. There is a massive potential in regions like India, Brazil, Singapore, Dubai etc. I have some really exciting positioning ideas but need a co-founder to scale this big.
