How can I add inline referencing?

Hi everyone, I wonder if there is any publishing tool that helps me include inline referencing? I mean anything that comes to your mind from Wordpress plugin to any publishing platform or something that I can embed.

Essentially, I want to give my audience better reading experience in website than in email.
