Gamified political app/social network seeks partner

I'm building an app/platform/game/social network which is a sort of experiment in democracy. It's 75% crazy radical idea, 100% business venture, and 200% fun.

I'm a moderately proficient self-taught developer and am currently building out the back-end (FastAPI, Postgre, Celery). I'm looking for a partner to take point on the front and am hoping to team up with someone who is either a front-end or full-stack developer. Also happy to invite in a really talented UX/UI designer with a strong interest in the subject matter.

This is a "super fun and interesting project to wrench on in free time" and not a "hole up in a room and eat ramen" arrangement.

I don't care what your personal politics are. All are welcome.

About me: Self-taught dev, 2X founder, raised money, pretty well connected, strong leader with clear vision, political scientist & applied researcher.

No hard requirements, but ideally looking for some of:

  • Interested in politics (familiarity with democratic political systems)
  • Knowledge of or experience with gamification/monetization strategy
  • Good eye for design (huge portfolio not necessary)
  • Familiarity with SPA/MPA/Native architecture trade-offs
  • Comfy with frameworks like React/Vue but mindful of resource footprint
  • Principled about platform policy

Anyone interested is welcome to email me at (if there is a bear at fastmail)
