If you are, you have come to the right place.
(Not for advertising purposes; I simply want to share my real-life experience and my journey of how I solve this problem)
So, let me guess...
I think you have tried some approaches like mediation, talking, walking, exercise, etc., but there is still some noise in your mind, right?
I always had a lot of thoughts and questions in my mind, about my career path, my job, my studies, my family, my relationship... What should I do next? Who am I in the next 5 years? Is my decision right?
-> All of these thoughts make me feel noisy in my mind.
And then I've found a way, and it was completely changing my life! By just writing down all my thoughts, whatever it is, every time I feel overwhelmed.
It works like magic! I can now take back my life, control my thoughts. By having clarity, I know exactly what things should be a priority and always make the right decision that I no more feel regrets after (and not the ones that be made by a moment anymore).
Seriously, it's really important because our life is all about making decisions. And maybe, some of them could totally change our lives forever!
But writing is hard, so after 4 years of research and testing, I've found a way!
Because our form of thought is a short sentence, and we have about 2,500 thoughts like that per hour!
Me, you, or even Elon Musk, we all have the same 24 hours each day! The only thing that distinguishes us is what we think about each hour!
This is why Pentime has a timeline base:
A question for you: Did you know that at this time, 3 days ago, what exactly were you doing or thinking about?
So this is my story, hope you enjoy it. If you have any questions, just dump them here. I'm happy to see your thoughts. Thanks for reading :)
And here is the link to the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.pentime.journal
This app looks amazing. I will check out this for sure! Is it available also for the iOS system?
Hi mate, we will release it soon for the iOS version in this June. You can follow Pentime on Twitter here to get up to date: https://twitter.com/pentime
Thank you!!
Sure, super excited about that. Can't wait and keeping my fingers crossed!
I'm in a phase in my life with a lot of unclarity, so this really helps!
Happy to hear that :)
Hi Lee, looks interesting - the technique is called Interstitial Journaling (https://nesslabs.com/interstitial-journaling). I played around with it as a section on my daily Notion journal as I found the concept interesting but it didn't work so well on Notion. Your app may be a better fit.
Wow, I just don't know that, look really interesting! I will take a deep look on this! Thank you for sharing.
I believe in the powers of free writing. However, I am confused after reading your post. Are you saying your app that is capturing key insights every hour (is that right ?) makes the mind lucid or you infer, based on the fact that writing, in general, makes the mind lucid, your app (a modern speedy form) will work the same way?
Hello mate, Yes, you have described it pretty right. Actually, it works pretty close like that. By the way, if you want to try it, just let me know.
