As an early-stage startup, we can't offer market-level salaries yet. Instead, we're offering significant equity and the chance to become a founding member. We accept only full time, working side by side with the co-founders.

About 3DAPI
3DAPI is building the infrastructure for global, on-demand 3D product fulfillment. We enable creators and sellers automatically route orders to trusted local print farms near the end customer, reducing shipping time, cost, and emissions. It’s a plug-and-play solution to sell globally and fulfill locally, turning 3D printing into a scalable supply chain. Think of us as the Shopify + Printful for 3D products.

The Role
As our Founding Engineer, you'll work directly with the co-founders to shape the architecture, product roadmap, and tech culture of 3DAPI.

What You’ll Do
Lead development of our core platform and infrastructure
Collaborate on product strategy and feature planning
Build scalable backend services using NestJS, Prisma, and PostgreSQL
Develop performant, responsive UIs in React with Next.js, Vite, and TailwindCSS
Design and manage CI/CD, Docker containers, and AWS infrastructure

What We’re Looking For
Strong experience with our stack (or similar): NestJS, Next.js, React, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Vite, Docker, AWS
Passion for product and startup building
Ability to work independently and thrive in uncertainty
Ideally based in or near Romania, we’re looking for someone who can work closely with us as the first technical team member
Bonus: experience in marketplaces, manufacturing tech, or 3D printing
