We are sad that we had to break confinement to get there but we didn't have much choices left to us. We saw the Police four times on the road but were never stopped despite our French car plates. I think we got lucky at some point, because we saw a checkpoint but the GPS guided us to avoid it...
What an adventure!

Hi everyone! I'm really sorry to disturb you here, but we need some help...
Up until now it has been a not so bad time for us as digital nomads currently in Greece despite the coronavirus crisis.
We were forced to go to a camping in Igoumenitsa where we are now on track to being sent back to France.
It will cost us a lot of money and expose us to the virus (they want us to go through Italy and then France, which is a very bad idea right now!!).
Our only solution for us to stay in Greece, would be to find a land that we can rent. We are ready to pay 300€ per months and we will rent it as long as the crisis continues.
We are at the end of our possibilities, our embassy is not helpful at all and I'm asking all of you:
Renting a land is the best solution for us. It will be much cheaper than the cost of going back to France (which is around 1000€) and will prevent us from being exposed to the virus. It also means a revenue for someone in a period where tourism is dead.
Hi Conra i am from Greece, i posted it in Twitter, i hope you will find a solution soon.
I would suggest you provide some contact info (email, phone, etc so that you will be directly contacted by interested people
Best regards
Thanks! I added our email so people can reach us ( [email protected] )
Hi Conrad,
I am from Greece, and I am asking my network to see if there's anyone that can help you. How many folks including you need a place? Does it need to be land? Can it be a house or something?
In any case, let us know if you've found a solution.
Cheers,
Petros
Hello Petros, thanks for your answer!
We are 4 people in two vans. The best for us would be a land as we are independent and all of our lives are in our vans. We really don't need much in fact. Just a privately-owned land where we can stay legally and diplomatically... Which seems rare these days!
Shared via Indie Hacker Twitter too, asked a contact I have in Greece too.
Keep us posted.
Thank you very much!

Thanks, I joined both groups :)
Sorry to hear, it must feel sucks disruption of your harmony there. But with the pandemic, the measures governments taking are rapidly changing. You should take care of yourself against exposure to the virus and fight no matter.
I'm in Turkey if you guys had to move towards this way. Happy to open my home and family land, whatever you need. We're also in lockdown, started yesterday. But it is for 2 days though, to prevent people from going to picnics on the weekend.
Shared this on Twitter. Let me know anything I can do.
Thank you so much for your compassion and offer. Our initial goal was to go to Turkey but we buried this dream a while ago...
Thank you for sharing my message on twitter :)
