Report
Just launched my landing page for the side project I've been working on from last 3 months. I'm looking for brutally honest feedback. Think you can find flaws or areas of improvement? Any feedback is appreciated.

Hi Naveen! Your landing page looks great, here's a few of my thoughts:
I like how well you've outlined the challenges that your potential user may face, and speaking directly to how you'd solve those challenges.
I think you've done a great job at creating interesting gifs/videos, especially for the "How it works" section. Have you experimented with more spacing between each step? That may give them room to breathe.
Right now, your h1, h2, and paragraph sizes are pretty similar in size. I wonder if you could experiment more with visual hierarchy when it comes to your text elements. This may make your site easier to read!
These are all pretty granular critiques, because overall the site is really solid.
A couple more things you could consider:
Great job!
Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely experiment with more spacing to improve readability. Appreciate your insights!
WOW... I hate this as a potential candidate.
The animated gifts are just showing drag&drop/zoom and gave me dizziness without teaching me anything
I don't think you answered for the customers what they get out of it, it's just like I put AI at the top, I should get sales
Your also entering a really hard niche with reverse incentives, the users don't have budget control to invest in tools and your creating a competition / need to justify my job scenario
I actually think big companies that hire tons of people for non tech roles are good candidates for this kind of solution, but you'd have to adjust sales plan for that...
Your not making it clear what type of interview/questions ect this tool should handle and what type of results the users should expect
I don't think you can prove people aren't gonna give the AI the roundabout, ppl make company chat bot sell them a car for 1$, agree that policies are there for their favour and these thing go to court and hold companies responsible, what's the liability aspects your opening companies to with this tool? Would they need to defend discrimination claims against the company due to using this tool?
Small companies and recruitment agencies show personality, they use social skills not automated testing, they already have hard time attracting candidates in tech generally speaking
Yea you might find some edge case companies interested, but I think this would be hard uphill
I appreciate your feedback, and I understand your concerns.
So I'm planning to replace the gifs with clearer video/images to improve the user experience and provide a better understanding of what to expect from the platform. Coming from a tech background, I initially focused on tech roles for screening, recognizing that the tool might not cover everything, especially non-tech roles. However, I see the value in exploring how it could be adapted for broader applications and will consider how to position it for non-tech roles in the future.
Regarding your points on discrimination and liability, I just want to clarify that this tool is designed to supplement the pre-screening process and not replace human interaction entirely. Use this instead of resume based screening
I'll also work on making the benefits and functionality of the tool clearer,
Thans again for highlighting these issues.
sounds like a great idea! is there a newsletter that I can subscribe to to stay updated with the progress?
Hey, Thanks. I dont have any newsletter at the moment. Is there anything reason that you want to get updates? Do you have any staffing agency/ running a startup that you could benefit from this app ?
Morning! No, I don't have a staffing agency. I'm currently building a business around helping tech founders to scale their teams. Or build one in the first place. This involves designing and optimizing the hiring process. So I'm always interested in testing new tools and making hiring easier. So if I know there is a great tool I can tell the people I work with. This is why I would like to stay in touch, as your service seems very promising to me. Screening seems to be the part most founders struggle with. Does that make sense? :)
Yes it does. Thanks for the explanation. Given your expertise and the value you could bring, I'd be more than happy to set up a some free trial accounts for you or any clients you think could benefit from this tool. Your/their feedback would be invaluable for my product. Please let me know your thoughts on this.
@mDanz My app is now live Beta. Please let me know if you have few mins to chat
Dime a dozen
Thanks.
The landing page provides clear information. I think it is good to highlight explainability. In this context, the AI needs to be able to elaborate why candidates have are given certain scores. This is especially true if we want to reduce bias in hiring using AI.
Thank you for your feedback! Highlighting explainability is a great point. How do you suggest we best incorporate explainability into the platform to ensure it meets users' needs while maintaining simplicity and user-friendliness?
It may be more user friendly to put short explanation near the final score, why the model predict such value.
A couple of small feedbacks on the feel of the website, the videos took way too long to load, consider using gifs, loaders or placeholders and maybe a light theme as default would be more appealing for your target users (HR) since dark mode is more common on programmers
I like your landing page. I worked at HR for 5 years, talked with recruiters, and discussed approaches similar to yours. It seemed to me that the market for this idea was quite competitive. From my experience, I can advise one thing - to implement integration with HR systems. Specific HR systems depend on the target market.
Thank you for your valuable insights and for sharing your experience in HR! I completely agree with your observation about the competitiveness of the market. Given your background, would you suggest it might be beneficial for us to niche down a bit, focusing on a specific, smaller section of the audience to differentiate ourselves more clearly?
Also Could you share more details or insights on which HR systems are most critical from your perspective, or how you've seen companies navigate this decision in your experience?
Try to consider the hypothesis of focusing on a specific specialty (e.g. data scientists). This is not advice, but a hypothesis from me. Perhaps there you can achieve better results and get ahead of your competitors.
I have experience working in Russian-speaking countries. The most popular system for HR there is potok (dot) io
Thank you for your suggestion and sharing your experience! Focusing on a niche, such as data scientists, is an intriguing idea to differentiate but I'm not sure if I want to go that deep of niche
I worked for a big job board company here in Romania and I know how complex the recruitment process can get. This seems to be the sort of thing best sold as a B2B solution. Are you doing outreach to recruiters and other recruitment platforms? Who's the target audience? It can't be all recruiters in the world.
Does it integrate with other recruitment tools? How do it work? Do i have to post the job description on the platform and have people apply or can recruiters plug data from a different ATS and have it analyzed?
Thank you for your insights . You're right; this is indeed a B2B solution, and my initial focus is on starting outreach to recruiters, particularly those within staffing agencies and startups. I'm currently refining my go-to-market (GTM) strategy and I am in the early stages of seeking a handful of pilot users for feedback before expanding my outreach efforts through cold emails.
As for integration with other recruitment tools, my vision does include integrating with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), but I'm considering this primarily for enterprise plans.
Regarding the operation of the platform, recruiters simply need to provide the job description, select screening criteria and questions from an AI-generated list, and then share the assessment link with candidates. This can be done directly through the platform or by adding the link to their job postings.
I would deeply appreciate any further advice you might have, especially regarding outreach strategies or insights on the most valued ATS integrations from your perspective. Your expertise in this field is invaluable to me as I navigate these early stages.
I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed with the platform! The website is incredibly user-friendly and the services offered are truly invaluable for businesses looking to streamline their hiring process. Also The layout is clean and intuitive, making it easy to navigate and find the information I need.
Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement! Thanks again!
Wow, I love the problem you are solving! I believe this is a good idea for the initial stage, which is frequently outsourced to agents creating a middleman. So, potentially you could save money for big and small companies for recruitment process. However, I would think of cases when candidates could also use AI tools for engaging with your AI. Also, in this regard, the question of how the candidate engages with AI, whether it is a voice conversation or chatting or vide conferencing. Did not find an answer for this
Regarding the design, I believe that the FAQ could also be at the bottom of the land page, which could be a logical termination for users. Through the process of scrolling down and acquainting with the information some questions could arise, which will be answered at the end
Good luck with your endeavors. I have a friend of mine who works in the recruitment agency, probably I could talk to her to give a feedback or test your platform
Thank you so much for your insightful feedback and support! Your point about the potential for candidates to use AI tools in response to our AI is well taken. I am actively working on introducing anti-cheat mechanisms. Your suggestion about the placement of the FAQ section is also greatly appreciated.
Connecting with a recruiter for feedback would be immensely helpful! If you could facilitate a conversation with your friend in the recruitment field, I will be grateful and happy to set up a pilot account for them to test our platform.
