Placed ads in several newsletters for freelancers

Every time we run this bundle, we purchase a few ads in different newsletters to spread the word to freelance writers.

This year we're trying ads in two outlets:

Both of these only cost about $100, so if we get ONE bundle buy at $99 out of the newsletter, we'll cover costs.

Of course, we use tracking links for these ads, so we can see exactly how many buys come from each of them.

Anyone have any other newsletters you think we should approach for an ad re: The Writer's Bundle when it launches on Sept. 14?

Targeting newsletters is a great idea! How did you decide which newsletter to target? And did you just contact the author?

Since we're in this space, we knew of a few newsletters focused on freelance writing, and those were the ones we decided to target. Both of them have advertising options on their website.

To be honest, I think the owners would be better off as affiliates, because they only charge about $100 for an ad, and as an affiliate they'd make $20 for each sale (20%). But some folks are hesitant re: the affiliate model and would rather go for a set fee instead.
