@rosiesherry @jimmylipham @dewanemutunga @jas_hothi Thank you all for the congrats!
I'll try to explain the growth the best I can :D My audience (now 900+) is grown completely from Reddit. Now, I'm not a Reddit expert, but I have been experimenting with how to utilize it as a marketing tool since September with past projects. The key takeaways that I've learned are as follows:

    • Create a post filled with informative content in a subreddit where your ideal audience hangs out. For my current project, I'm looking for people who are wanting to spend less money on food and cook at home more.
    • My post on Reddit was filled with nothing but informative content and at the same time, I tried to make it as personal as possible - by just talking like a human! Go figure.
    • Keep your 'spam' links as minimal as possible!
This may not seem like a lot to make a difference because it's not difficult at all, but it works. And it's consistently worked for me the past 2 months. Every 2-3 weeks, I post something on Reddit and they almost always are successful in gaining me at least 100 subscribers.
This could be my niche, as it's able to target more people than most projects. However, when I was experimenting with my past project that was based around travel, I saw quick success with it also. So, I think it's just knowing how to present info and gain interest in the communities of where your audience is hanging out.
Hope that helps some! You just have to try to know, and learn from it.
And for reference, here's my most recent post on Reddit that received a great amount of feedback: https://www.reddit.com/r/EatCheapAndHealthy/comments/bxzu9b/5day_meal_plan_with_vegetarian_substitutes/

Congrats Dianna! (Also congrats on sending your name to Mars in 2020!).

Looking forward to hearing more about how you grew to 500+ in 30 days. It'll make a hell of a blog post.
