Breakthrough

We've been working on the Gmail DOM a lot. As an extension we don't have a lot of leeway when it comes to libraries and frameworks. They don't play well.

To build true "assistant" we need an "in-context" experience for the user i.e we can't break the user workflow for them to use CadenceIQ. To accomplish this it's vital to figure out how to render right where the user is at that very moment.

After a couple of days we reverse engineered Grammarly's frontend.

This wasn't the hardest engineering task we've faced but it was certainly tricky.
