It's been a while since I've posted here. 😅 Thought it would be good to provide an update and, if possible, return to regular posting on IH.
There's been a lot of changes since the last post, so to give you a summary:
My co-founder didn't have much time to contribute to the project and we decided to part ways (hence I'm looking for a new one);
Vrite entered Public Beta;
I decided to convert Vrite to a Commercial Open Source Software (COSS) project, publishing it on GitHub under AGPL-3.0 license;
I launched Vrite and a derived demo project - Vrite Editor - on sites like HN and Reddit, slowly growing to, what now is >1K stars on GitHub, >1.3K registered Beta users, the few of which started building actual projects (blogs, knowledge bases) on Vrite;
I'm steadily moving to a stable version, positioning Vrite as a collaborative, all-in-one technical content management platform to compete with the likes of GitBook, or Confluence.
I'm still working on a sustainable marketing strategy and preparing for a stable (or at least feature-complete) launch in the upcoming months.
So, there's definitely a lot going on - that's why I'm looking for someone to join in on the effort and push Vrite to the next level 🚀 Check out this post if you're interested: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/seeking-co-founder-for-open-source-devtool-start-up-21c2e0a69b
