I want to share with the Indie Hacker community some really good news. https://github.com/ixartz/Eleventy-Starter-Boilerplate has reached 50+ ⭐️ stars on GitHub. An open source project released three months ago.
Eleventy Starter Boilerplate is a simple and easy starter code for Eleventy static site generator. I have built this boilerplate project for my website: https://creativedesignsguru.com and I thought it would be a good idea to share the code with the open source community.
Indeed, making this project open source was time consuming and as an indie hacker, you don't have the time to do it.
But, after these three months, I definitely think it was a good idea🚀. Someone have already made a pull request https://github.com/ixartz/Eleventy-Starter-Boilerplate/pull/2 and another developer also shared that there is an issue with the boilerplate https://github.com/ixartz/Eleventy-Starter-Boilerplate/issues/1 (now, it has been solved).
It's a good way for someone to check your code and get feedback about it. And another advantage, it's an easy way to promote your product. In the README file, I have shared my Premium Eleventy Themes and it brings some visitors on my website.
