It's been a year since I officially launched Currents.... Couldn't imagine it would take off
by Andrew GI am quite shy to share business metrics, but.... more than 100 organizations have been using Currents, including some big and recognizable names.
The system has recorded 100MM+ items so far, with relatively modest infrastructure expenses and almost 0 outages.
Marketing is tough, but I am also feeling limited because the product is basically a copycat of a loved service.
The most exciting part is realizing that we have been helping real people.
Feedbacks like "too good to be true" are sooooo satisfying to hear.
Some customers are tough - regulated, suspicious, but even those ended up being happy with the service.
Was able to hire people to help with core activities- which was a super important personal milestone.
What's next? Is it a viable business? How do we grow it x10?
