The idea

One day the other founder came up to me and mentioned he'd been observing a common nuisance in the process of quoting in the CNC industry for quite some time then. He also mentioned he had an idea how to make the quoting easier, quicker and more accurate for both the client and the manufacturer.

The idea more or less was to create an application which would allow clients to upload files with the element to cut, and based on the manufacturer's configuration get instant quotes with the possibility to place an order and pay. Such order, along with shipping details, cutting details and the file would be processed by the manufacturer.

I liked the idea and soon had we decided to give it a try.

This was the 1st project for both of us, with no prior experience in building startups.
