New Feature: AI Generated Animated Avatars
by DmitryContinue to play with Stable Diffusion, this time I tried to do animations and got quite interesting results. Asked my friends to review if they are worth to be offered as a product and got conflicting opinions. Some think it's cool, others it's waste. So I decided to put it to the website in manual mode. If there will be a demand for the feature I will automate the whole workflow, for now I can do orders manually. Hey, some advice. Your website loads really slowly, and the images load even more slowly. I think a lot of users are going to dip out because of that, so you might want to get it fixed.
Also, I looked at your comparisons page and noticed your comparison to Avatar, Lensa, and Profile Pic AI. I think that overall, the price you offer is too expensive and unclear. It says $15 per run, how many images are in a run?
I'm not sure what goes on in the background, but you mention in your comparison that your current way of running things is quite expensive, and I don't think most users care about a third party service being used (API) since there isn't any way for the API to access your personal info anyways.
So if you could save on costs, then I advise you use an API as well.

Hey @RichardGao, thank you for review. I think you have a good point about unclear pricing, I updated homepage to indicate what exactly users get for the price they pay. Also I don't think that $15 is too expensive. AvatarAI and Profile Picture sells for much higher price. From my experience running online services, usually users who pay the least - are the ones who complain the most. There are consumers for any level of pricing and price is also a differentiator of your target audience. I don't want to sell to 1-2$ buyers.
Website speed is ok though, I use RUM check from Uptime.com to track real user loading time and it says median time to interactive is only 756ms, website is served over CDN so I think there was some outage to the location where you are or some other network latency issues. Also have just checked it with PageSpeed Insights and it has all green scores - 90 for mobile and 96 for desktop which is damn good.
I am not planning to use API for now since I have everything deployed myself. This also gives me the ability to experiment, i.e. make animated avatars, fine tune the model, try different parameters at inference time and so on. Bu I am following you and wish you luck with with your project :)

All very good points! And it might be an issue on my side if the website loads quickly on the checks you've mentioned.
