Dwarf was born

After years of working in design, front-end and marketing, I decided I wanted to dip my toes into trying to build a full-stack web app.

To do so, I jumped right into learning Svelte (& SvelteKit) and Supabase, as well as trying out a few other tools like Prisma & PocketBase. Honestly, I loved using them all!

Over the last decade, I've learnt a lot about how I learn, which meant I immediately looked to build something as opposed to just doing tutorials & reading docs.

That translated into building multiple simple CRUD apps the first week of learning, but I quickly set my eyes on building something that I was excited to use myself, and that's where the idea for Dwarf came from:

A simple & relaxed domain name marketplace for founders & indie hackers like me who end up (accidentally) hoarding domain names for projects that never see the light of day.
