Our community earned $1,000,000,000 through Envato

When Envato started in 2006, we set out to help creatives earn (as we were a bunch of designers). A few years in we were seeing real growth and I'd read somewhere that you were supposed to have a big audacious goal for a business, so I came up with something that sounded a little fantastical, and that focused on our author community - $1B of earnings. Anyhow, it took the better part of a decade to get there, but last month we crossed the milestone, and we're still bootstrapped! 🎉
