Quoting software for service businesses

Visit Website
September 6, 2026 I got tired of quoting software trying to be a CRM

When I looked at quoting and estimating tools for small service businesses, I kept seeing the same thing: more and more features, dashboards, automation, CRM functionality, invoicing, accounting...

But sometimes you just need to create a quote and send it to a client.

So I built EZINDRA around that simpler workflow:

→ manage clients and services
→ create a quote quickly
→ add custom items and discounts
→ generate a professional PDF
→ let the client accept or reject it online
→ see whether they opened the quote

The goal isn't to replace every business tool. It's to make one part of running a service business much simpler.

I'm curious about something:

For those of you who run a service business or build software for them — what is the most annoying part of your current quoting process?

The narrower scope makes sense, but what evidence would show service businesses will actually leave their current quoting workflow for a simpler one?

Great question, Aryan. The main evidence I’m looking for is "time-to-value." Instead of forcing users through a painful onboarding or making them set up a whole database beforehand, EZINDRA lets them create and save price list items on the fly, directly inside their very first quote. You can save new services to your price list as you type them, or take an existing item and customize its price or description for that specific client—all without ever leaving the quote creation screen. Many people don't actually drop their CRM entirely; they just stop using its bloated quoting feature because it’s too rigid. I want to see if they prefer a frictionless tool that lets them just jump in and get the job done.

What would a real user have to do for you to count EZINDRA as replacing their old quoting workflow?

That’s a great question, because in SaaS, just letting a trial roll over isn't always enough proof of a permanent switch.  Since we have a 7-day trial with a credit card required upfront, the financial conversion is one indicator, but the behavioral proof is what really matters to me.  For me, a user has officially replaced their old workflow when they hit these three milestones during or right after the trial:  1.The "Aha!" Moment: They create a quote on the fly, customize a service line item directly in the editor, and send it in under 2 minutes. This proves they experienced the friction-free workflow I designed. 2.The Client Loop: Their actual client opens the link and clicks "Accept". Once a job is officially booked or accepted through an EZINDRA link, the tool is no longer an experiment—it's part of their business operations. 3.The Clean Cut: They stop jumping back to their old CRM just to double-check formatting or re-create the same quote "to be safe". If they do those three things and let the first payment process after day 7, I know EZINDRA didn't just get trialed—it successfully broke their old habit.

That’s a strong definition of replacement. I’d be interested in seeing what the first users actually do. If you’re open to it, what’s the best email to reach you on?

Absolutely — you can reach me at [contact@ezindra.com](mailto:contact@ezindra.com). And thanks for following along. I’m still early in the validation process, but I’d be happy to share what I learn once I have the first real users going through the workflow.

Thanks! I’ve just sent it over.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts whenever you have a chance.
