Took a decade to hit $1k/month earnings

I built a little side project over a weekend in 2009. By 2019, without much involvement from me, it reached $1k in monthly earnings, all from display ads.

Since then, I’ve put in a bit more effort and crossed $6k in total earnings, still relying on ads.

Now, 15 years later, I’m about to launch a paid subscription tier for the service.
