Building Flip Hop in public: a $5 daily on-chain micro-stake game

We’re building Flip Hop around a simple idea: if a daily game depends on randomness, users shouldn’t have to just trust the platform.

Flip Hop has $5 tickets, one round every day, and one winner. The result is generated using Chainlink VRF, the contract is verified on Base, and the pool, fees, and payouts can be checked on-chain.

We’re also trying to keep the crypto layer out of the way as much as possible. Users can sign in with Google or connect a wallet, while settlement happens in USDC.

We’re launching small on purpose and building in public. I plan to share what we learn, what breaks, and real operating numbers as participation grows.

I’d especially like feedback from other founders on two things:

  1. Does the transparency model feel clear enough to someone who isn’t deeply into crypto?
  2. Would Google login make you more comfortable trying an on-chain product, or would you still expect a wallet-first experience?
