Freebies.ByPeople Revamped
by Juan Pablo SarmientoAfter hearing some feedback we realized that our side-project Freebies.ByPeople's UI & aesthetics were progressing in a different tone from our mother site bypeople.com so we were working on reducing this visual gap between ByPeople and the subdomain Freebies.
It's been also almost 2 long months where we had the time to:
- Create a nice & fluid animation for our header.
- Improve the loading speed not only on the landing but also on all the site (We needed to sacrifice some cool preview gifs tho 😥 )
- Test different cards & layouts for our posts previews.
- Static or not: That's was the dilemma about the categories menu.
- Keep growing the collection and hunting more & more good commercial-use freebies for designers & developers.
How does it look? Every feedback or roasting is completely welcome and appreciated 🙏
