Reached a 100 users

I launched HearApp on September 3rd on ProductHunt. We got about 30-40 registrations from there.

Over the past few days, I've been posting small successes on my social media, introducing myself on relevant Slack channels, and been posting about HearApp on aggregator sites (PH, IH, BL).

We've been growing in user count about 5-10% daily and today we finally reached our 100th customer!

The product has a 1 week free trial. We've not been able to get any paying customers just yet - fingers crossed, it better happen soon! 😅 But we've had a few people request to extend their free trial.

I hope the next milestone is about me getting my first paying customer! 💫

Hey Swaathi. I've been independently using the HearApp to schedule meetings. I find it very useful and easy to use. The meeting notes are my favorite.
Congrats to you and your team on this milestone. Hope to get it touch with you soon :)

Hey @varsha_srini! Thanks so much. I'm super glad you found it useful.

Would love to speak with you and understand what we did right and what we can improve on. (Shameless self plug) You can schedule a meeting with me here: https://hearapp.co/swaathi/quick-chat-15-min. 😄

Congrats Swaathi! I noticed the "SCHEDULE NOW" button in the app screenshot. It might be worthwhile to make that into a CTA that actually takes the user somewhere, even if that might just be the same behavior as clicking to login/signup.

Ah okay! That’s a good one.

The scheduling seems normal to me - the notes sharing intrigues me.

What was your thought/trigger behind building this product.

    1. 1

Oh! Is that in a good or bad way?

Trigger to be honest was very internally motivated. I wanted something clean but useful to help me take notes during meetings and something to highlight what needs to be done after it. So each meeting basically has 3 elements to it - agenda, notes and actionables.

Cool - I think I mean, is there a way to leave scheduling to the pros i.e. Youcanbookme, Calendly, Hubspot

        And focus on the rest

Thanks for sharing so candidly! Helpful to hear other's experience on Product Hunt

No problem! Hope it helped. :)

Hi Swaathi, congrats on this milestone! :)

Really cool, congrats! I also love the fact that you can dogfood your product by using it to schedule feedback meetings with your own customers :D

Yes! My main metric is actually number of meetings. Not necessarily number of users. If I get users hooked on and schedule meetings, they end up acting as stewards to the product. However I have to be honest, our ratio to user and meetings isn’t great. Solving that is going to my be my focus for the next week. :)

Also, would love for you to try it out. Let me know your thoughts. :)

what a slick design! no doubt this will become successful.

Thanks @imeralpb! I'm obsessed with code and design - to the point where I have to pull myself away from the keyboard and remember to sell/market it. I'm glad you like it. :)

This is really awesome! This seems like a cool Idea.

Thanks @SathishCodes! Would love for you to try it out yourself: https://hearapp.co

This is so cool. Congratulations Swaathi. What feature do you think your new customers are currently getting the maximum value out of?

    1. 2

Hey @imkarthikk. I would definitely say the HearApp profile page.

So basically every user gets their own profile page which they can share with people. In our welcome email, we prompt users to add their profile page link to their email address so that their clients or team can schedule meetings with them.

      Here's mine: https://hearapp.co/swaathi.
