Father's Day Ad
by Taylor BrazeltonSo my father's day ad has not worked. I ran it for 24 hours and didn't get a single conversion. Therefore, I decided to stop the ad, and instead, I am attempting to boost my Father's Day post instead.
Sadly I don't expect to see much from the post as it looks and feels sales like.. no descriptions... I just used copy and paste to create a list of cool father's day items. Taking another look at the post really makes me cringe. Don't get me wrong, the product list I created I believe in, but how it's presented, using amazon custom boxes... that feels weird. I don't think people are going to stick around on the page for very long.

10-20 seconds looking at your landing page, I don't understand what those posts mean. You are not conveying your idea/purpose very clearly. (The purpose is not what you want to accomplish with this site, but what value are you delivering to me, the reader)

I read this specific post you referred to. You need to sound authentic and more human. Add photos, write more, make it sound like you believe in what you are writing. I can see you making recommendations but why are you the expert and why should I accept your recommendations? Until you sound authentic it is just words on a page. The reader will dismiss you.
Some things that could help is if you add photos of you, talk about who are you, and why are you on this mission. I would also recommend experimenting with different types of media. Maybe youtube or similar (video) would work better if written content is not working. Or maybe even something visual like IG. That ofc means you would actually have to have the products in hand to be able to show and tell about them. You can do these things in parallel and see what works.
