Landing Page Published!
by Denis LinWhipped up a nice-looking landing page (linksavr.com) using some simple, but awesome tools. See below for the tools I used and some quick notes on my experience with each one.

Tools used for landing page
Dorik.io : landing page builder
Amazing flexibility, very easy to use, had everything I needed and more - some incredible features include page animations, responsive web design (you can see and change many things specifically for mobile vs tablet vs desktop), button hover animation, video upload, etc. Bought the $60/yr plan (which is cheap compared to other stuff) to get access to custom domain connection + submission form, and bonus : includes 5 sites! No payments for now but is apparently coming soon. Will be using this as my go-to landing page builder from now on for sure. The free plan is good as well, but if you want to collect emails with the built-in integration or have a custom domain, you need to get the paid plan.
botsociety.io : simple animated Slack chat
Simple web tool I used to create the Slack window chat animation ("The Avengers" workspace). Simple and easy to use, but fairly limited in its capabilities - you create users + bot, and type stuff you want them to say in the right order. The bot stuff is super limited. For me it was good enough, but one thing to note : you only have 1 free video export, so any exports after that have to be screen recordings (a bit worse quality)
Chart Nert : embedded charts for Notion

Another web tool, this one lets you connect a Notion table and create simple graphs from it, then embed that back into Notion so that you can refresh the graph straight from there! Super cool in concept, but for me there's still a lot of room for improvement (there are a number of bugs and visual issues, and I would love to see the ability to do some simple calculations, to create pie charts that show percentages instead of instances for example). Also, the Chrome extension didn't work for me, but it's not at all necessary.
Slack Bot Kit builder : build slack bot UI/UX

The Slack developper tool, allows you to create the Slack bot pop-up that I used in the video and in the screenshots. Easy to use, but you do need to know some simple code stuff in order to use it and get it the way you want. Really cool that you can send it to Slack and interact with it in semi real life (it doesn't do anything after you submit but at least you can have it pop up, input the stuff, and submit)
screely.com : create easy website mock-ups
Yet another web tool. Maybe the simplest but most rewarding tool I've ever used 🤩 Literally all you do is take a screenshot of a screen, import it, and choose 2 or 3 simple options for how you want it to look, then you download that and you're good to go. Note: I had an issue where you only get the good file the second time you download it, just a heads up.

- Mailchimp for subscriber mgmt + automated welcome email
- Analytics : probably GA, but looking for something simpler and easier to use. All I care about is page views, time on page, button clicks for a few different buttons. Open to suggestions!
