Built littleus.co for my fiancée

My fiancée and I both work from home, both at our desks all day, and some days we'd go from morning coffee to evening without really talking. Not because anything was wrong — just two people heads-down in their own work.

I didn't want another chat app. We already have three. What we needed was a way to feel like the other person was around, without either of us stopping to type something.

So I built a desktop pet. Her pet lives on my screen, mine lives on hers. No messages, no notifications, no check-ins — just a tiny creature doing its thing in the corner of your screen, there because she is.
