Back in October, I "Launched my MVP". What that means is my product is available to the public, and I can accept money for people to use it.
I have exactly 0 paying customers who are strangers. My only paying customer is a friend and fellow Indie Hacker who wanted to encourage me.
Even though I haven't felt the rush of getting my first customer from the web, I have experienced a small win today. I got my first click from organic search!
This gives me a little bit of hope that my blogging efforts may yet pay off, although probably not anytime soon.
My strategy is to write a series of blogs that can help with the onboarding process and to help potential customers see what it would be like to use my product. Now that I have the first three articles done, I'll move on to more marketing-focused articles targeted at strategic keyword search. Beyond that, I plan on running a series of payed ads, most likely through Facebook and Pinterest.
I'm not giving up now, it's just starting to get fun!
