Hubspot, Zapier, Group Scheduling, Microsoft

Quarter one is now over. It was the most active product quarter for Meettrics. The underlying core work finished up last year. I wanted to rush the product to an "MLP" state. I am happy that it is now in that state 🎉.

Microsoft Outlook connection was added to now allow for Office 365 calendars. It's buggy still and needs more testers. The MS api's are not as well built as Google and had more deviations from standards than I expected.

Hubspot was created. Connect to your instance via Oauth2.0 and sync new bookings through Hubspot meeting events. It will automatically create any new contacts from you based on the email.

To round out integrations, Zapier provides a nice way to integrate quickly with just about anything. We will publish updates to bookings to Zapier to send to other marketing automation integrations.

It became pretty clear that some form of group scheduling was needed. In dogfooding the software, it was hard to schedule meetings with more than two people.

So we added round robin and group scheduling. Some testing needs to be done yet to verify it's working perfectly.

Oh, and the website is about 80% of the way translated. Since we are based in Amsterdam, we started with Dutch of course. I find that getting outside of the US market has good results in cheaper AdWords and people love products in their native language (especially when it's not a common one)

I entered this quarter driving this solely by myself. But I am a dev at heart and not interested in running a company or marketing. We exit the quarter with three contributors to the project. I found a great person to run and grow the business. And a few dev friends are finding it fun to help out and see their features used quickly.

We are also exiting the quarter with signups! And money is starting to come in (albeit very little haha). Still great to see.

I'm not sure if this was what I planned for this quarter but I'm excited to see the progress and what comes next quarter. The biggest thing I am focusing on is getting more users to stabilize the bugs and quirks. Software really needs usage to become stable. Already edge cases are appearing. Hopefully, by May it can be deemed fully stable and tested.
