Hit $10,000 in total revenue

I had a sale for a listing on Bootcamp Index yesterday. Once I had added it to my accounts spreadsheet I saw my running total turn over into 5 figures and over $10,000!

A few years ago I never thought of being able to make money online let alone 10k! It's nice for me to see how far I've come.

My sources of revenue have been:

  • Newsletter sponsorship
  • Articles sponsored by coding bootcamps
  • Affiliate links
  • Listings on my job board
  • Listings on Bootcamp Index

It's a long story so I wrote about it in more detail on my personal blog

I just referred to your site to make my listing of affiliate programs last week! Saw your site on sheet2site and found it quite clear. I've just launched my site Afftable.com yesterday.

Can you tell me which source of revenue constitutes the largest part? I'm just starting out. Not sure if my target audience will be interested in my site. How did you gather traffics at the beginning?

Newsletter sponsors used to be the biggest source but now it's becoming article sponsorship from bootcamps.

      That's a really useful site!

I would definitely put it out on Hacker News/ Product Hunt/ Reddit etc

      Good job!

Does it require big traffic to ask for sponsorship? How can you launch 2 weeks ago and monetize so quickly?

I've been running No CS Degree since July last year so I've been in the space for a while now.

You need decent traffic but you don't need to be a rocketship. Just ask people to sponsor you.
