Since dropping Notes.ai on the Mac App Store back in Feb 2024, I've made about 6 sales, totaling roughly 50 bucks. Most of them come from my social media posts with about 30k views, but probably most of them are not my target users so conversion is kinda low, so far this my first and only means of marketing.

Well, it's a small success for me considering my past 3 projects with 0 revenue. Also those were sales made when there was no offering of a free version and limited features, so I am hoping that newly added features like transcribing local audio/video files and YouTube URLs, and free trials will help boost the sales.

My plan for next steps are adding Notes.ai to various product listings including IndieHacker's, Product Hunt, etc. Maybe when the time is right, I'll also talk to some Productivity influencers to see if they can make some videos for my app?

What do you think I should be doing? I think my app has some PMF among Notion users, I would really want to see how much potential it can have. If it proves to have great PMF, I would also like to expand vertically to other notes taking app or horizontally adding more useful features.
