First paying customer via Stripe!
by Patrick LorioToday I got my first customer outside of Patreon. A whole $2/month! Right now it stands that 1/35 people that view the stripe checkout page have made a purchase. Given I get over 1,000 unique monthly visitors I should do more to increase the premium feature's discoverability. One more step towards covering costs. :)

Game server hosting is huge. Have you thought about implementing an exit pop-up & live chat (so you can learn why 34/35 that view the checkout page don't convert? Or maybe ask for email before viewing the checkout page and follow up.

That's a good idea. Thanks! I might be able to correlate the user to their Discord account. If I can, I'll try reaching out to get their thoughts. Right now the checkout page is managed by Stripe so adding those features will require a bit more work. I have been thinking about customizing the checkout experience to make it more streamlined. Still trying to find the balance between doing work to grow my incoming users and optimizing for those I have.
