It took more than ten months to reach from zero to $5.5k in MRR (since the first paid plan launch in October 2019). Today I'm happy to share that Qase has passed the first significant milestone!
So, how I did that? On 1st October 2019, I have launched a single paid plan with a flat price 10$/user. Revenue growth has started, but it was slow. Most of it was from users who wanted to try additional features like API or Test Case Review. It took eight months to reach $3k MRR. Slow, isn't it?
I've decided to change my approach: increase the price, add annual plans, and go deep into the sales process: cold messages in LinkedIn, more demos, upselling current customers. All of that helped almost to double my monthly recurring revenue. I hope to see $6k in MRR at the end of the month.
The next important milestone is $8.33k because it is equal to $100k ARR.
