How can other founders help us?

We're developers, not content creators or marketing experts, and therefore we would appreciate it if other founders could suggest the marketing tactics/channels that they have used and what they would recommend to someone who built a product aimed at developers. Did you submit your products to popular tech blogs or podcasts to gain exposure; and did you benefit from that, etc.? Any suggestions of such communities are welcome 😀
