Today, I woke up and was pleasantly surprised to see that someone had purchased the $15 export package and the $19 subscription plan.
Later on, another person purchased the $15 export package, for a total of $49 made today! 🎉
One customer even left some feedback saying that they are 10/10 likely to recommend Screenshot Creator to a friend.
This is amazing and shows that people really appreciate my product. It makes all of the time and hard work I spent toiling away without any customers worth it.
I was a bit apprehensive about removing free exports and raising prices a few days ago, but it may have actually had the positive effect of making the product seem more premium, as well as lowering the amount of abuse that I see with temporary email addresses.
Happy to hear that!!
You'll remember this day for the rest of your life.
Congrats.
Thumbs Up!
Woah congratulations, that must feel awesome!
Congratulations
Congrats man! It's an amazing feeling right? ;)
The sweetest reward for hard work! Keep pushing!
Congrats and keep it up!
Hey @richardchu, I love your website and think it is a really cool idea! If I were to give some feedback, I would change the favicon logo on your site. It looks (or reminds me) of an Adobe CC logo. The dark background and blue font make me think that. Try using the one you have for your IH product logo.
Tell me what you think. 🙂
Awesome! Keep it up @richardchu ! 👍😄
Great! Congrats!
Great tool! I have a feature suggestion though!
If you make a tool for generating assets for Android and Apple app store uploads (graphics needed for submitting an app - different logo sizes etc), I think even more will start using the product (including myself).
Or perhaps offer a CLI for it?
I'm not sure I understand you - Screenshot Creator is supposed to be used to create app screenshots to upload to the app store. Do you also mean creating icons? Or different screenshot sizes like banners?
Both of those, yes. The assets needed when submitting a brand new app to the store is insane. Would be super nice if it could crop in all the sizes needed, from very few images.
I know it's kind of a "separate thing", so perhaps it should be a separate tool as well, but it's definitely worth considering. It's something I would've paid for many times, and something that's currently very painful when making apps for the stores.
Thanks for clarifying. This'll require a lot of additional investment, but it would be great to eventually build a one-stop shop for all of your app store asset needs!
Nice Mate! Keep up the good work! :)
Congratulations on your achievement!
Awesome, congrats!
How do you market this? when i did google search I didn't find your app
I think a lot people find the app by searching Google directly for "screenshot creator". That's one of the advantages of having a straightforward name with existing search traffic that captures what you're doing. @harrydry does the same thing with Marketing Examples :)
I think SEO is the best marketing strategy for this type of product, so I'm planning on investing further in related keywords with more search traffic.
My other major source of traffic is Product Hunt.
