Idea of SQL Habit course was always right in front of me, I just couldn't see it ๐
I've been working with data and SQL for years. For work or as pet project I've built recommendation engine for Github repos (using collaborative filtering), content analytics system long before it was available on Medium and many more.
A lot of friends, colleagues or entrepreneurs approached me with questions on how to set up data warehouses, how to set up tracking solution to run product or marketing etc ๐
After a couple of years (haha I'm glad it wasn't 50 years) of people asking me I've realised that sharing my knowledge about data and SQL could be a product itself ๐ก
I've interviewed colleagues who taught themselves SQL. It was clear that the real habit and deep understanding comes only when you work with real data and challenges.
This is why SQL Habit is based on a story of a fictional startup (which totally could be real) and during the course you'll learn how data is modelled, collected, stored and you'll have to write actual SQL to solve business problems). ๐
This is how the idea of SQL Habit came about ๐ฅ
