Rolled out Story View 1.6.0

The other day an idea popped into my mind that it would be a great feature to let the users of Story View display their latest stories on other sections of their website as well, so I created a custom widget that makes this possible.

I didn't intend to roll out any additional functions this year, but this was something that didn't take a lot of time to implement. It took me about 5 hours to create it, including the research (I haven't created a custom widget before) and the development.

Meanwhile, the number of premium downloads decreased (about 1 every month) which is not good, but at least it's more than zero :)
25 people already downloaded the free version of the plugin, and I have about 5 to 10 pageviews every day. Based on what I see, this happens mainly because people started to search for AMP Story plugins, and Story View supports that as well.

I think I'll create a dedicated landing page for that feature and try to SEO the 💩 out of it.
