Our browser extension is finally live! π
Check us out on Product Hunt here, laugh at James posting videos of our launch today in Sri Lanka or read on for some more info π
Many of you know that James and I make another product, Leave Me Alone. Leave Me Alone was designed as a way to help users take back control of their mailboxes, but last year we started to realise that we could help more.
We came up with this idea to use the metadata of the subscriptions we saw to create a system which could help users identify good/bad mailing lists.
This functionality started as a simple scoring system within Leave Me Alone - each subscription email had a rating from A+ to F to help users decide super quickly which emails were worth keeping.
This feature was well received and made it into our v2.0 launch in October last year, but we wanted to take the concept further and help users not just take back control, but keep control of their mailboxes.
Introducing Subscription Score, our new browser extension that stops spam before it happens!
The extension uses the same ranking system you see in Leave Me Alone, but for every webpage you visit. It also notifies you when you are about to give away your email to a spammy mailing list.
The best way to stop spam is to not give away your email address to spammy mailing lists in the first place!

Weβd love to know what you Indie Hackers think of our product and idea. We know that a monthly subscription for a browser extension is a little unusual, but if you love the idea you can grab 50% off our yearly plan today!
