Online coding tests are the only way to hire at scale - Not Anymore!

Answer First: We are building TalentMama - ChatGPT for Screening Candidates
Website & Demo Link: https://talentmama.com#about

"Man! I could totally handle this role. We have just scaled under similar considerations with those technologies." - This was often my reaction when reading a JD for some of my dream roles.

But even before we could highlight that achievement, comes an online coding test asking a puzzle question, which has little to no relation with their JD. Even if you mention your proud creations in your Resume, it gets lost in thousands of them and recruiter techniques like keyword searches, x-ray searches and whatnot.

Companies would love to "hear" our stories and we would love to "tell" them. Open Ended Questions like the following delve deeper into a candidate's abilities and problem-solving approach.

  • "Tell us about a time you had to process huge volumes of data and explain how you approached it."

  • "Describe a challenging project you worked on as a back-end developer. What was your role, and how did you ensure the project was both scalable and maintainable?"

@koustav19 , I and two of our friends have built TalentMama to unlock the scale problem with such questions. There's a Demo and Free Beta Request link on the website.

Until recently, it took a lot of effort from the hiring team's perspective to go through each such application and score them. We give ChatGPT the question, the candidate's answer and what the hiring team is looking for in the answer. ChatGPT then scores the answer. ChatGPT doesn't know who has answered it, so it has minimum bias. We even allow Human evaluators to add their own scores alongside as well.

What's more?

When the user enters a Job Description in our app, ChatGPT automatically suggests questions that can be used for screening the candidates and also suggests criteria against which it can be evaluated. It's up to a human to select which ones they want to include in the Job Application form.

Let us know your feedback and please feel free to share your screening experiences while applying for jobs. If you are a founder of a startup which is hiring and want to try our product, we would love to do a Free Beta testing with you.
