Update: Repurposing the site

It's been quite some time since I updated this project. But part of my own self-accountability involves actually posting about my project here. The market for our products is mostly in the USA, here in Canada there is little interest. The cost to ship to the USA means our low-cost goods will end up costing a fortune (even though I live 10 minutes from the US border) so the site never really took off.

My wife and I are Scouters and our group has a problem: we have excess scouting supplies overflowing our storage areas. So it seemed natural to repurpose the site to be a local marketplace for us and other Scout groups to have their own online stores and sell to each other. No cross-border issues, all local. We're slowly working on this project as time permits. I have other projects on the go with higher priorities, so this one probably won't see any updates until winter.
