I just spent 1h making a favicon work. Why???

And it's not like the site is almost done and I'm just polishing. No. It's at the very beginning. Why am I like this? It's embarrassing.
I mean, just look at this:

Here’s the fun part. It’s still not working 🤦♂️ I’ve given up by now and just moved on.

😂 I used to use https://realfavicongenerator.net/ though it’s not up to date with the latest svg and dark / light mode last I checked
