The idea wasn't original tons of landing page collection websites. But they didn't have the one feature I needed being able to filter by block. I also just wanted to see SaaS sites as that is what I focus on.

Hey Volkan, what do you make of the landing page https://tinysnippt.com? It is a social coding platform that is free and still in beta. I added a learn more button with people asking me what it was about on the facebook ads.

Sorry for the late response been a little busy :) and wanted to give this some proper thought.
I would look at https://repl.it/ and other examples. They have proper landing pages. The goal of the landing page is for someone to learn about the product and see if it will provide value to them.
When I land on tinysnippt I have no idea who you are, what you do and if you will solve my problem.

Hey thanks for this feedback. I wasn't getting a lot of traction and decided to the pull the plug on this. If I had little bit more tractions working on the home page would have been the next logical update to the site. But repl.it is basically solving most of the problems tinysnippt would have.

Yeah it can be hard shutting down a project. But sometimes it is the right call.

Awesome ! I really find your project useful. One small feedback, your objective from what i see is to gather email addresses. Maybe put a button with a different style on the menu to subscribe to the newsletter.
When entering a page all the images will keep loading and the footer is like 10 scrolls away.

Some quick tips for your landing page :)
- Remove most of the links in the navbar, goal of the landing page is to convert users. Put them in the footer.
- Add a hero header, so make the subheader the header and then create a new subheader. They already know what the product is called and visitors take 5 seconds to see if the site might provide value or not.
- Change the CTA to "Start Now" or "Save Now"
- Not a fan of the carousel it bloats the JS and is a worse UX for the vistior.
- For the testimonial a name would be great and a logo for the chrome webstore.

@diannamallen @sachinjain024 I'm learning first hand how stressful a PH launch can be.
At the start we wasn't getting ranked and thought it was over :) Then we suddenly got pushed to rank 10 and have been climbing since.

Message - point being conveyed and its logical progression on page. What the product is, what it helps me to do, USPs, features, etc.

In general though your goal is to build trust. To do that you have to show value and make sure you talk about the benefits of the product to your target audience and not features you like/were hard to build.
