On 0:10 SF time it's time to release it. My stress is peaking when I click submit on the ProductHunt site. Like a rocket I'm totally on auto-pilot at this point. One by one I submit content to several sites while I update my own sites parallel.
First responses fly in. One retweet, cool. I switch back to posting updates. Fixing a link in my blog quickly. Thanks to the amazing Netlify services I just need to "git push" - what a time saver. Back on Twitter: four retweets - Yay. Off to ProductHunt: 6 upvotes, alrrrighhtt. Back to sending a few more tweets & messages. Back on Twitter I see some more mentions and responses. I handle them quickly before getting back to pushing more. This forward and backwards between responding and pushing more goes on for a few more hours.
A friend of mine becomes my first customers. Even it's a friend helping - I've sold one! I'm stoked 🤑️ Excitement takes completely over as I'm reaching the third spot on ProductHunt and shortly after the second spot. Preparing and hand crafting content has paid off well. I continue responding and tweeting like a kid on a massive sugar rush. The second spot is where WhichLogin.com remains for a long time and I don't expect to catch up the 50+ upvotes I'm behind. I take a moment to breath and get my first meal of the day (around 5 pm).
Unbelievable, but the upvotes picked up more and more and Which Login takes over the first spot on ProductHunt 😍️ I'm mind-blown 🤯️ It can't believe it and take screenshots every few minutes because I expect to drop down to the second place any second. But this doesn't happen until far past midnight local time here in Bangkok. I'm exhausted and asleep at this time already. In the morning I've got a solid second place and am more than happy. This is where Which Login remains as the voting for the day closes. It's an incredible experience launching and promoting a product. I'm so grateful for all the great people supporting me with messages and retweets along the way.
