Here in the UK the start up attricion rate is 90% in the first 3 years, its usually the same reasons.
Underfunded, lack of experience, lack of infrastructure.
Business tools COST MONEY and they are designed by accountants and suit-wearing corporate hell monkeys.
I ended up building my own in house tools to help sustain and control my fast growth.

I agree with everything you say! When I started to build my business and found out how much money I need to spend on little things, I really wanted to give up. But then, I realized that I can make some things by myself just by using the Internet. For example, I really wanted to have a nice package with my stamp, because I love it, for the design of my stamp I spend just some minutes.
